About the Estate
Twin Fields Estate is a luxury inn and event venue located in the heart of Southern Pines, North Carolina, just 15 minutes from Pinehurst Resort. Twin Fields Estate is situated on 22-acres and comprised of two historic properties in the middle of the Walthour-Moss Preservation in Southern Pines, North Carolina.

Twin Fields Estate was built in 1961 by Charles Adam Pitt, a devoted family man and huntsman. Originally named Windswept Farm, Pitt constructed what is now known as The Manor as a family home, featuring seven bedrooms, ten bathrooms, and a pool. The entrance drive is framed by towering magnolia trees, with two lush open fields stretching out on either side.
The Barn Lodge predates the Manor and was originally owned by the Moss family, who helped spearhead the formation of the Walthour-Moss Foundation. Formerly known as the Brewster Barn, it was constructed in 1941 and served as a place for huntsmen to stable their horses and set out for fox hunts across the property.
The Barn Lodge was later thoughtfully restored by the Bortins family, who transformed the original horse stalls into three private suites while preserving the structure’s historic character. The renovated lodge can comfortably sleep up to ten guests and features two fully equipped kitchens, making it ideal for extended stays, group gatherings, and retreat-style accommodations.

Today, my greatest joy is helping couples bring their vision to life and creating a weekend where they can slow down, soak in every moment, and celebrate surrounded by the people they love most.
